As a career, Judy taught Art, English and Drama at Lakewood HS and Mogadore HS, Ohio. and Portland Polytechnical HS, Portland, Oregon. She was awarded the NEA 1996 Artist as Teacher Award. Since retirement, Judy has focus on her own artistic efforts. Her works have been seen at the Butler Institute of Art, Medina Museum of Art, local and Ohio galleries and in various collections and competitions. Most compositions are expressions of emotions and observations done in various media.
