The Artists of Group Ten is a community of 15-20 artists living and creating in Northeast Ohio. The group is made up of artists from a wide range of visual arts including sculpture, painting, ceramics, glasswork, and mixed media.
A majority of the artists have spent a lifetime creating and sharing their passion for art with hundreds of others. They have taught at all levels, from grammar school to college and beyond. They have authored articles and books, given workshops, and participated in hundreds of art shows both locally and internationally.
Group Ten Gallery had its start in 2012 when a local Kent businessman offered a downtown co-op gallery space to ten local artists who were looking to exhibit their work. The artists quickly organized and created a vibrant calendar of annual exhibitions. Unfortunately, in 2020 the spread of Covid 19 ended the gallery space lease and the Group Ten Gallery was forced to close its doors. However, the artists decided to stick together and continue to exhibit their diverse work together under the new name The Artists of Group Ten.
